New York and Houston-based Frosch International Travel (No. 14 on Travel Weekly’s 2019 Power List) has acquired Luxe Travel, an agency with more than 200 advisors and annual sales over $200 million.

Luxe Travel is based in Irvine, Calif., and Boca Raton, Fla. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Frosch president and CEO Bryan Leibman said the two companies share a similar clientele and use of independent contractors.

The acquisition gives Frosch a stronger West Coast presence, he added, as well as additional talent in Florida.

Luxe’s leadership team will remain in place.

“The similarity in culture will result in a seamless transition for our longstanding clients,” Luxe president and CEO Craig Carter said in a statement. “Further, Luxe Travel will benefit from the opportunity to utilize Frosch’s resources, including technology and operational fulfillment, to maintain a competitive edge.”
