Intrepid Travel today announced it would pay $200 in upfront commission on August bookings for its 2021 tours.

The company said the offer is valid on Intrepid and Peregrine Adventures trips of $2,000 or more.

"We know this is a challenging time for the entire travel industry, particularly while there is still so much uncertainty around international border openings," said Megan Bailey, Intrepid Travel's sales director for North America. "We want to show our appreciation for our travel agent partners by offering partial commission upfront to help make this time a little bit easier."

Intrepid said the $200 will be paid to the agency by direct deposit within three weeks of the booking date. The agency will receive the remainder of their commission at the time of trip departure. The offer can only be applied to new bookings, but includes the use of future travel credits, the company said.
