Werner has been with MAST since 2000, when he was named vice president of membership sales and business development. He was promoted to president and COO in 2002.

In his time at MAST, the network has doubled its preferred-supplier portfolio. He grew its membership base to more than 205 member offices in 19 states representing 1,600 advisors. Werner has also led a number of initiatives, including a cruise booking platform, a sales reporting tool, a database synchronization system and a multichannel marketing program.

Chairman and CEO Geoff Hendren called Werner invaluable, saying his "exceptional leadership and relentless drive have been instrumental in transforming MAST into the thriving consortium it is today, a network now perfectly positioned for growth in the years ahead."
