KHM Travel Group has formed a partnership with the Wellness Tourism Association (WTA).
KHM's advisors will now have access to resources and opportunities in the wellness space, including education programs, webinars, trend briefings and research focused on wellness tourism.
"Health and wellness are some of the most dynamic travel segments today," KHM CEO Rick Zimmerman said in a release. "We've made wellness a priority for our corporate team and are now partnering with the Wellness Tourism Association to help our travel advisors meet the increasing demand from travelers seeking trips that nourish mind, body and spirit."
The Wellness Tourism Association, founded as a nonprofit in 2018, dissolved in May due to financial issues. In August, it relaunched as a for-profit entity that CEO Robin Ruiz called a "recommitment to changemakers who see travel as a force for well-being."
The association created the Wellness Travel Specialist Course in partnership with the Travel Institute.
