Universal Destinations & Experiences has named Luc Bondar chief brand and commercial officer effective Oct. 19, succeeding Alice Norsworthy, who plans to retire at the end of the year.

Bondar brings experience in marketing, loyalty and commercial operations to his new role. He was previously COO and president of MileagePlus, United Airlines' loyalty program..
In his new role, he will oversee Universal's brand strategy, creative and marketing, demand generation, sales, pricing and revenue management and commercial operations and analytics.
He will also serve on the NBCUniversal Marketing Council.
Bondar will report to Mark Woodbury, chairman and CEO of Universal Destinations & Experiences.
"Luc is an accomplished leader who brings a strong combination of global brand strategy and commercial experience, a deep understanding of the consumer and expertise in using technology and data to identify new growth opportunities while deepening relationships with guests and fans," Woodbury said. "These capabilities and his experience build on the legacy Alice created and will be a tremendous asset as we continue to pursue our bold ambition to be the destination of choice everywhere we bring the Universal brand to life."
Norsworthy has held leadership roles with Universal for more than 18 years.
Under her tenure, Universal Orlando has grown into a destination resort, including its most recent theme park, Universal Epic Universe, which opened in 2025. The company has also expanded its global footprint.
