FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- Media Odyssey here, a specialist in on-line
mountain resort guides, introduced a Web-based ski resort search
service for agents.
The site, www.SkiAgent.com, has a password-protected Lodging
Finder, which agents can subscribe to for $100 per year or $10 per
month. It enables agents to search by type of lodging, approximate
price per night, specific ski area and resort amenities and then
hyperlink to detailed information pages for individual properties
that meet their search criteria.
Media Odyssey's other Internet-based products include
SkiResortsGuide.com and SkyOdyssey.com.
Charles Greer, president of Media Odyssey, said the new site is
designed to make life easier for agents.
"The Lodging Finder program was developed specifically with
travel agents in mind. Agents typically make several calls to
properties to check on pricing, services and amenities to make sure
that their clients' needs will be satisfied," he said. "Lodging
Finder will allow them to save time by bringing up only those
properties that fit the travelers' criteria."
