Thanks to ASTA's Verified Travel Advisor Fast Track program, 122 Signature Travel Network advisors are newly credentialed VTAs.
Signature brought the Fast Track program to more than 200 of its advisors virtually on July 20, with 122 earning certification.
The VTA program certifies advisors who complete its four core courses, pass an examination and meet a sales minimum. The Fast Track program, as its name suggests, speeds up the process.
Over the course of a four-hour session, Signature's advisors covered the program's full curriculum as well as two ethics case studies to apply the principles covered to situations they might encounter in the real world.
Alex Sharpe, Signature's CEO, said in a release that the Fast Track program "offers the perfect combination of rigor and efficiency."
"It gives advisors the opportunity to earn what I consider the pinnacle of credibility in our profession through an intensive, single-day seminar," he added.
ASTA has been working to expand access to the VTA program via opportunities like this with consortia and agency networks.
"ASTA's VTA credential sets the industry standard for professionalism, knowledge and ethical business practices," Society CEO Zane Kerby said. "By investing in the VTA Fast Track program, Signature Travel Network is reinforcing that standard across its network and ensuring its advisors are equipped to earn the trust of today's travelers."
