Signature Travel Network has partnered with Australian travel agency network Magellan Travel Group, giving Magellan access to several Signature programs and supplier connections.

Magellan has 130 agencies and more than 600 agents in Australia. Signature said the partnership gives it "the strongest U.S.-based travel network footprint in Australia."

Under the Signature Travel Network International Affiliates Program, Magellan members will have access to Signature's hotel program and its 1,000 properties, Signature's preferred destination specialists worldwide, and propriety technology in the form of Pocket Travel Consultant, a mobile itinerary app powered by Axus.

"This new partnership is going to be very beneficial for both networks, since it will expand our global reach and increase our ability to negotiate better travel privileges for our members and their clients," Signature CEO Alex Sharpe said in a statement.

The announcement was made during the Signature Owners' Meeting at the Arizona Biltmore.
