Tahiti Tourisme launched a program that makes it easier for travel advisors to become Tahiti specialists. qualifying them for client referrals and fam trip opportunities.
Under the new Tahiti Specialist Program, advisors who complete the online, interactive training modules are considered Tahiti specialists.
They then have a year to book a minimum of six passengers to the islands to become certified. Once certified, they begin receiving referrals from consumer inquiries on the Tahiti Tourisme website and become eligible for fam trips. The incentives grow with the number of bookings.
Under the marketing organization's previous program, advisors had to take an individual or group fam to at least three different islands and book a minimum of $30,000 in gross sales to become certified specialists.
