Travel agent services company Thor has released an online booking tool, Agent Connection.
According to Thor, a Travelport-owned company, Agent Connection is designed for agents who don’t have access to a GDS. With the tool, agents can book air-hotel-car packages as well as cruises, travel insurance and excursions/activities. The tool allows agents manage bookings and track commission payments, Thor said.
“Travel agents can book all major, top-tier suppliers for their travelers and easily manage every step of the process,” said John Kennedy, Thor's managing director.
Agent Connection is available to U.S. agencies. Thor said it will be available to agencies in Canada and the U.K. later this year, with availability to other countries based on demand.
