An online training module for travel agents that focuses on Walt Disney World's Fantasyland expansion at the Magic Kingdom will be released in January, said Randy Garfield, executive vice president of worldwide sales and travel operations for Disney Parks and Resorts.

In the meantime, agents can download content about the expansion and the updated Test Track Presented by Chevrolet, at Epcot, to integrate in their own sites. The material can be found at the Disney Content Connection, part of DisneyTravelAgents.com, the supplier's agent portal.

Garfield said there are no agent promotions tied into the official openings, which occurred last week. The current "Stay, Play and Dine" offer incorporates New Fantasyland-related imagery, but it is not directly tied to the expansion.

In keeping with existing policy, bookings made at the new Be Our Guest restaurant are not commissionable beyond paying for any package that includes the dining experience.

Agents will find a video tour of the new Fantasyland on the Disney agent site, and Garfield said additional information would be made available to agents via Disney Travel News, an e-newsletter sent to agents who have registered at the portal.

Disney can also provide agents with Fantasyland customizable print ads, flyers and self-mailers; customizable email templates; and various size banner ads and Web buttons for agents to download and utilize on their sites, Garfield said.

He also suggested that agents encourage clients to explore RevealFantasyland.com, a consumer site, prior to visiting so visitors can "make the most of all of the great offerings."
