The Travel Institute is migrating its online educational courses to a new e-learning platform that features an improved learning experience adaptable to various screen sizes and orientations.
The institute said the ability to complete content on multiple devices enables travel advisors to work on educational courses whenever they have internet access.
"With interactive exercises, increased use of images, enhanced navigation, mapping capabilities, progress quizzes and much more, we're blending the capabilities and content we see as most beneficial to travel professionals who want to maximize educational opportunities and advance their career," Diane Petras, president of the Travel Institute, said in a statement.
Right now, the institute's luxury and golf specialist programs are available on the new platform. Its course on Northern Europe will be available May 1 as part of a new, three-part series for Europe. Its Certified Travel Associate course will be available starting July 1 with refreshed curriculum.
Additional courses are expected to be migrated to the platform by the end of the year, including Alaska, the Caribbean, Hawaii, Italy, Mexico and North America.
In the meantime, the courses are still available online.
