Travel insurance firms form organization

WASHINGTON -- Seven travel insurers formed the U.S. Travel Insurance Association to promote professional conduct, lobby governmental entities, help members and educate consumers.

The group's founding companies are Aegon Direct, BCS Insurance, CSA Travel Protection, Travel Guard International, Travelex Insurance Services, Trip Mate and World Access/Access America.

The founding officers of the UStiA are President Jon Ansell, president and CEO of World Access/Access America; Vice President Bradley Finkle, president of Trip Mate; and Secretary/Treasurer Paul Latchford, vice president of Aegon Direct.
