GARDEN CITY, N.Y. -- Vacation.com introduced a direct marketing initiative
to its members called MailXPress, which is designed to reduce the
effort of mounting an effective direct-mail campaign.
The service is offered in conjunction with DataMarketing
Network, a 15-year-old direct marketing specialist.
The consortium will provide exclusive collateral materials for
direct mail, insertion and in-store distribution, as well as
postcards, flyers, newsletters and a magazine, all of which can be
personalized with the agency's logo.
The service is being offered in basic, premium or inclusive
versions.
With the basic version, the consortium designs and prints the
material and members take care of personalizing and mailing. In the
premium service, the consortium creates and personalizes the items,
but the agency mails them. With inclusive service, the consortium
does all three.
Prices vary according to the service.
