SEATTLE -- VacationSpot.com, an on-line specialist in condos,
time-shares and other "independent vacation lodging" options, is
now featured on Travelocity.com, Sabre's Web-based travel agency.
VacationSpot.com, based here, said it provides descriptions as
well as rate and availability information for some 50,000 homes,
condos, inns, hotels and time-shares, along with an on-line
reservations request form.
Travelocity.com said the addition of VacationSpot.com gives
members more options for places to stay.
Steve Murch, president and chief executive officer of
VacationSpot.com's parent, Rezworks, said the alliance with
Travelocity.com "will drive additional traffic to our site and
moves us toward our goal of building a platform for
VacationSpot.com and its thousands of property listings to be seen
on all of the Internet's leading travel sites."
Last year, Microsoft made an investment in Rezworks.
VacationSpot.com also is featured on MSN Expedia, Microsoft's
on-line agency.
