Brad Bourland has been promoted to president of Virtuoso.

Bourland, most recently the travel agency consortium's chief operating officer, will retain his current responsibilities until a successor has been named. He has been COO since 2020.

Additionally, Virtuoso has named Tristan Dowell its chief commercial officer. Both positions are newly created roles at the company.

Dowell joins Virtuoso after 23 years with Hyatt Hotels Corporation, where he was most recently global vice president of luxury, lifestyle and leisure sales.

"I'm excited by what's ahead as Brad steps into the role of president, bringing strong leadership to guide our next phase of growth," Virtuoso chair and CEO Matthew Upchurch said in a release. "Tristan has been a long-time supporter of Virtuoso and our members. His perspective as a former partner will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen how we deliver value across the network."
