Amadeus has partnered with two companies, Distribusion
Technologies and Betterez, to make bus travel a more accessible and convenient
option for agents.
Distribusion has inventory from over 300 bus operators in
2,500 destinations that will be available first to Amadeus agents in central,
eastern and southern Europe. Amadeus said it plans to roll the content out to
agents across the world soon.
Betterez is a sales, operation and back-office platform
enabling bus operators to promote their product in direct and indirect
channels.
"Travel sellers are paying more attention to bus travel
to continue enriching their offer to travelers, and have been longing to add
this kind of content in a simple, standardized and effective way for some time,"
Distribusion founder and CEO Julian Hauck said in a statement. "The
combination of our market-leading bus content with Amadeus' travel seller
network will open the door to new travelers."
