"Empires on the Edge" is the theme of Phocuswright
Europe, which this year is presenting a program that explores the rise, fall
and stall of empires of any kind.
The impact of Brexit on economies and travel-related
corporations across the EU-British divide will be examined. Two tourism
leaders, one from each side of the Channel, will come together onstage to
explore what happens after a community with a shared dream suddenly must cope
with what could become a shared nightmare.
The CEOs of eDream Odigeo (Europe's largest OTA),
TravelPirates (the continent's largest deal site) and Airbnb's managing
director of Europe will each take center stage. Learn how they hope to take
advantage of opportunities given only to the big, while fending off challenges
from competitors of every size, both known and unknown.
The conference will be held in Amsterdam on May 15 and 16. Friday,
