Inntopia has acquired Denver-based DestiMetrics, a supplier
of lodging metrics and market intelligence.
Like Vermont-based Inntopia, DestiMetrics' primary customer
base is mountain resorts. Inntopia provides reservation and e-commerce systems for resorts
and destinations.
DestiMetrics founder Ralf Garrison will continue to
work with the combined Inntopia/DestiMetrics business.
Inntopia CEO Trevor Crist said that DestiMetrics will "serve
as one of the foundational pieces of our upcoming business intelligence
offering."
The DestiMetrics deal follows Inntopia's acquisition last
fall of Ryan Solutions, provider of a CRM platform for mountain resorts.
Inntopia is a subsidiary of Northstar Travel Media, which
also is the parent of Travel Weekly.
