Birch Street Systems, a provider of procurement and back-office automation for hotels, has named John Davis III CEO.
Davis, who founded hotel distribution specialist Pegasus Solutions in 1989, left that company in June. He was chairman and CEO of Pegasus.
Birch Street said its web-based systems are used by more than 1,800 hotels worldwide. The company is based in Newport Beach, Calif.
