The Priceline Group has completed its acquisition of the
Momondo Group, which operates the European travel metasearch engine Momondo and
flight-comparison site Cheapflights.
Priceline acquired all of Momondo's outstanding shares in
the $550 million cash transaction. The acquisition was announced in February.
Momondo, headquartered in the U.K. and Copenhagen with an
office in Boston, will operate under Priceline's travel search site Kayak and its
CEO, Steve Hafner.
