Priceline has launched a number of new booking tools and upgrades for its platform, including an AI chatbot named Penny.
Penny uses generative artificial intelligence to answer a number of questions about hotels and restaurants, such as "Are there any vegan restaurants near my hotel?" and "What are the best four-star hotel options in midtown Manhattan within walking distance of Central Park?"
Penny is one of 40 new features designed to give travelers more flexibility and confidence, Priceline said.
Among the new capabilities are the ability to filter results with family-friendly options; rebook flights with airline credits directly on Priceline; highlight hotels rated high for sustainability; dynamic deals; and enhanced payment security.
