Sabre said it has partnered with
Mindsay to launch a chatbot solution for airlines, travel agencies
and OTAs that can resolve up to 70% of customer requests automatically.
The solution uses artificial intelligence to resolve
requests ranging from simple FAQs to modifying/canceling flights to qualifying
refund requests.
Sabre said the partnership will enable its customers to
reduce call and chat volumes. Agents can focus on urgent and complex requests,
while the solution handles common requests. Travel agents can enter and exit
conversations when necessary.
Student travel specialist Kilroy is Sabre’s first customer
to use the new solution.
