Trisept Solutions' new platform, Xcelerator, is live and can be tested by agents, the company announced this week.
The platform from Trisept -- the creator of booking portal VAX VacationAccess -- facilitates bookings and also offers client profiling, itinerary management and dashboards for organizational purposes. Xcelerator will work with VAX and other suppliers' booking platforms, but is not a booking tool on its own.
Agents on Xcelerator currently have access to client profile management functionality; activities and trends dashboards; trip planning functions with integration to VAX; payment summary; and basic itinerary tools, according to the company.
When the platform is fully functional, which is expected in February, Xcelerator will use the Cognitive Conversion platform developed by WayBlazer and powered by IBM Watson to offer research and booking functionality. Agents will have access to land-based vacations and cruise sailings. The company plans to add river cruises and escorted tours in the summer, as well as the ability to create detailed client profiles.
Once a client profile has been created by an agent -- which includes both simple preferences like whether a client likes all-inclusives, as well as higher-level data, like the type of excursions cruisers prefer -- Xcelerator will use artificial intelligence to suggest itineraries.
Xcelerator is currently free, but introductory pricing of $20 per month or $200 per year for a single user will begin in February, when more advanced functionality is introduced. Multi-agent subscription pricing will also be available.
