The 75-villa Tryall Club in Montego Bay, Jamaica, launched the first phase of a multiphase renovation project that will include new luxury amenities across the 2,200-acre property.
The first phase will introduce a new beach club with a beach bar and outdoor grill, a family infinity pool and lounge area, an expanded beachfront, a boutique and tour desk and event spaces for outdoor gatherings and weddings.
The beach bar and grill will be adjacent to a new lawn and sand volleyball court.
The $9.2 million project is scheduled for completion by Nov. 15.
The renovations follow the resort's upgrades of Tryall's 18-hole golf course in 2017.
Next summer's projects will include a beach restaurant and bar, updates to the Great House, which dates from 1834, and the unveiling of a spa.
