Beaches Ocho Rios officially reopened March 4, joining the Beaches properties in Negril, Jamaica and in Turks and Caicos that reopened earlier.

"Families have been through a lot over the past year, from navigating virtual school and work simultaneously to being away from loved ones," said Adam Stewart, executive chairman of Sandals Resorts International. "The Beaches team is here to give them the vacation they have been dreaming of.

"With both vaccinations and confidence in travel trending upward, families can now choose among three Beaches Resorts in the region."

As with all the Sandals and Beaches properties, the 222-room resort uses the company's Platinum Protocols of Cleanliness health and safety measures.

In addition, Beaches provides complimentary on-site Covid-19 testing for all guests departing for the U.S., Canada and the U.K.

Four the resorts in the Sandals' portfolio have yet to reopen: Sandals Royal Bahamian, targeted for May 1; Sandals Grenada, opening March 31, and Sandals Barbados and Sandals Royal Barbados, both opening on April 2 .
