Belmond Hotels announced reopening dates for its two Caribbean resorts.
Belmond Cap Juluca in Anguilla reopens on Nov. 1 with flexible booking policies, enhanced safety protocols and a schedule of daily on-property experiences.
Guests must remain within the resort for the length of their stay or for a maximum period of 10 to 14 days, based upon Covid-related requirements set by the Anguillan health authorities and the government.
After this mandatory period and a final PCR test, guests will be free to explore the island, which has not reported a new Covid-19 case since April.
The resort has launched a roster of daily diversions for guests that includes rum tastings, sage-clearing ceremonies, sunrise yoga classes, birdwatching, aqua golf and private excursions on the water.
Protocols include in-room dining available 24 hours a day; takeout from Anguillan restaurants; a private chef and bartender available for in-room dining; or candlelight dinners in the sand. Classes at the fitness center will be available on an appointment-only basis.
Rates start at $795 per room, per night, double, excluding tax.
Belmond La Samanna in St. Martin, which reopens Dec. 1, offers beach picnics, dinners in La Cave wine cellar, one-on-one art classes and sunset sails.
An offering launching next April is a private turtle conservation experience, where guests can watch baby turtles hatch and make their way out to the sea.
Rates start at $650 per room, per night, double, excluding tax.
Both resorts feature extended stay offers for 30, 60 or 90 days.
