The Excellence Collection plans to open its second outpost in its all-ages Finest Resorts brand, in Punta Cana on Sept. 1.
Half of the 455-suite resort will focus on guests 18 and over; the eastern half of the property will cater to all age groups.
The resort will have a spa, wedding venues, 16 bars and lounges and 12 restaurants, including culinary concepts such as the family-style Melting Pot, with teppanyaki and Korean barbecue items on the menu.
The beachside main pool for families will include a splash and game area near the Imagine Kids Club with mini waterparks and supervised kids' activities.
Accommodations include family suites, junior swim-up units, two-story rooftop suites and new options such as beachfront honeymoon suites. The Excellence Club for adults and the Finest Club for all guests are two private club settings with upgraded suites categories and exclusive amenities.
The resort will be the third Excellence Collection property in the
destination, following Excellence Punta Cana and Excellence El Carmen.
Reservations opened on Dec. 10.
