Punta Cana Airport has unveiled a VIP lounge complete with
infinity swimming pool.
It's the first airport pool in the Caribbean to overlook the
airstrip, the airport said.
"We are thrilled to offer our visitors a unique
opportunity to enjoy themselves as they wait for their flight," said Frank
Elias Rainieri, director of Punta Cana International Airport.
In addition to the pool, the lounge has hospitality rooms with showers and changing areas.
The lounge is open to Priority Pass, DragonPass and Lounge
Pass card holders, as well as first- and business-class passengers. Fliers who
purchase the airport's VIP service can also enter, as can residence owners at
the Puntacana Resort & Club.
