Azamara Cruises releases details on 2008-2009 season

Azamara Cruises, Celebrity Cruises' new deluxe cruise line, opened bookings for the 2008-2009 Asia season on its second ship, the Azamara Quest. Azamara also announced 2008-2009 itineraries for the Quest's sister ship and the line's only ship in service, the Azamara Journey, in Europe and South America. The additional itineraries bring Azamara Cruises' total number of ports visited to 175 in 60 countries, the line said.

In Asia, the Quest will offer a 24-day repositioning voyage, an 18-day voyage, and six 14-day voyages. It leaves Athens for Singapore on the 24-day itinerary on Nov. 22, 2008.

On its itineraries, the ship will call at various ports in the United Arab Emirates, India, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China, Thailand, Vietnam, South Korea, and Japan with overnights in several ports.

The Azamara Journey, meanwhile, will spend its winter 2008 season in South America beginning Dec. 18, 2008, with an 18-day voyage from Sao Paulo, Brazil, to Buenos Aires, Argentina, and offer voyages there throughout the season.
