Disney Cruise Line is adding Captain Marvel to its roster of
seaborne superheroes just in time for her movie debut.
The character will be part of the Marvel Day
at Sea on Disney Magic sailings departing Miami from Jan. 6 through March 8,
2019.
Captain Marvel, also known as Carol Danvers, is a former U.S.
Air Force fighter pilot. She is considered to be Marvel Comics' biggest female
superhero.
On March 8, 2019, Marvel Studios will release a
live-action film featuring Danvers titled "Captain Marvel" and starring Brie
Larson.
Marvel Day at Sea features a deck show spectacular, themed
youth activities, special merchandise, and unique food and beverage offerings.
Disney bought Marvel in 2009.
