The Carnival Elation has returned to service at its homeport in Jacksonville, Fla., with the new Carnival hull design and onboard enhancements.

The red, white and blue design was introduced with the debut of Mardi Gras in 2021 and has been rolled out across the Carnival fleet as ships complete drydocks.

Guests visiting the Cloud 9 Spa will find a fully refreshed area, including new steam and sauna rooms. Carnival said it also did work on public venues and staterooms.

The ship's first cruise upon its return to Jacksonville departed Saturday on a five-day Bahamas sailing.

The 2,052-guest Carnival Elation (at double occupancy) sails year-round from Jacksonville.
