Carnival Glory to sail Caribbean itineraries

MIAMI -- Carnival Cruise Lines revealed its plans for the 2,974-passenger Carnival Glory.

When the ship debuts in July 2003, it will take up residence in Port Canaveral, Fla., replacing the 2,124-passenger Carnival Pride.

The Glory will operate seven-day Caribbean cruises, alternating eastern and western Caribbean itineraries each week. Eastern Caribbean itineraries call in Nassau, Bahamas; St. Thomas; and St. Maarten. Western Caribbean cruises call in Key West, Fla.; Belize City, Belize; and Cozumel and Progreso, Mexico.

The Pride's 2003 itineraries -- and its new home -- have yet to be announced.
