Celebration Key will open with two berths; Carnival expects that the third and fourth berths will open in 2026. All berths will be able to accommodate Carnival's Excel-class ships, the line's largest vessels.

Construction of the final two berths will cost $100 million, Carnival said. The addition brings Celebration Key's price tag to $600 million, said Carnival Corp.

Carnival expects that 2.2 million guests will visit Celebration Key in 2025, with the number growing to 4 million by 2028.
