Carnival Cruise Line on Thursday opened reservations for the inaugural season of the Carnival Firenze, a Costa ship that is joining Carnival's fleet

The ship will begin sailing Mexican Riviera cruises from Long Beach, Calif., on May 2, 2024. The Firenze's Long Beach deployment is scheduled through April 2025.

Carnival Firenze will be the second ship to showcase what the line is calling "Carnival Fun Italian Style experiences." The Carnival Venezia will sail year-round from the Manhattan Cruise Terminal in New York, starting this June. The former Costa ship officially joined Carnival's fleet on March 22.
