The Celebrity Solstice has completed a massive renovation and now has an outdoor park as well as new restaurants, lounges and staterooms.

The ship's Lawn Club was replaced with Sunset Park, a top-deck space for activities like yoga and live music that neighbors a new breakfast and lunch venue, Sunset Park Café.

Another new Celebrity Cruises venue debuting on the Solstice is Trattoria Rossa, an Italian specialty restaurant. It is located on the aft of deck 5, an area that was completely redesigned. Joining it there is the Fine Cut steakhouse, another dining addition to the ship, and an expanded Blu restaurant.

The ship has a new 125-seat entertainment venue called Boulevard Lounge and a neighboring cocktail bar, Boulevard Bar. There is also a new sports and gaming area, The Parlor. They are all located on deck 4 outside of the ship's main theater.

Two new shows are now performing in The Theatre: "Smoke and Ivories," an acrobatics-infused show with 1950s music, and "Rockumentary," which re-creates well-known rock performances.

There are 54 new staterooms throughout the ship, and every existing stateroom was fully upgraded. The drydock introduced four new stateroom categories for the ship: Panoramic Infinite Veranda Suites, two types of Panoramic Ocean View Suites and Deluxe Panoramic Ocean View staterooms.

Suite-exclusive area The Retreat has a new sundeck, seating and hot tub and a redesigned lounge. Other existing areas across the ship were also refreshed, such as the gym, Martini Bar and Cellar Masters wine bar.

Each of Celebrity's five Solstice-class ships, built between 2008 and 2012, will have similar renovations. The cruise line has said the modernization project will cost $250 million.

The Solstice re-entered service March 2 in Singapore after a 46-day dry dock. It will sail Alaska this summer and a 110-night Grand Voyage at the end of the year, concluding in Hong Kong on New Year's Eve.
