Celestyal Cruises will extend its 2019 season in the Mediterranean through December as part of its progression toward year-round sailing.

The Greek line said it will sail five 7-day "Three Continents" cruises in 2019, with the first departing from Athens on Dec. 2. The cruise calls at Alexandria and Port Said, Egypt; Ashdod, Israel; Kusadasi, Turkey; Limassol, Cyprus; and Rhodes.

After laying up for January and February, Celestyal will resume cruising with its two ships.

It will sail a seven-day "Eclectic Aegean" itinerary from April 4 until May 9, 2020, with a second series of cruises beginning on Sept. 5 and sailing through the end of October 2020. Celestyal Cruises' seven-day "Idyllic Aegean" cruises will sail from May 16 through Aug. 29.

The "Three Continents" cruise will again sail from Feb. 29 through March 28 and Nov. 7 through December 26, 2020.
