Luxury cruise line Explora Journeys has promoted Chris Austin to president of North America.
Chris Austin
Austin joined Explora in 2020 as chief sales officer. He is credited with shaping the new brand's identity and fostering its growth.
Before joining Explora, Austin served as vice president of global luxury and leisure sales for Seabourn and senior vice president of global marketing and sales at Starwood Hotels and Resorts.
Owned by MSC Group, Explora is currently sailing its first ship, Explora I, in the Caribbean. The line will welcome a second vessel, Explora II, in August, followed by four more ships in the next four years.
