Costa Cruises has canceled its remaining calls in Turkey for the balance of 2015.

Three Costa ships visit ports in Turkey, including Izmir and Istanbul. They will be rerouted to ports of call in Greece, Italy and Malta. Costa said the substitutions "will ensure the best experience to its guests and will meet their expectations.”

The decision follows a terrorist attack on the U.S. consulate in Istanbul by the Revolutionary People's Liberation Army Front earlier this month.

The ships involved are Costa neoClassica, Costa Pacifica and Costa Deliziosa.

Costa said guests were informed of the change starting Aug. 17.
