Bill Smith, Crystal Cruises' senior vice president of sales and marketing, will leave the line to join the Virtuoso network of travel agencies.
Smith will be Virtuoso's vice president of cruise sales and exclusive product, effective May 9.
Smith's resignation from Crystal is effective May 6, the line said.
Smith is a well-known figure in the luxury cruise market. He joined Crystal in 2004 as its top sales and marketing executive.
Previously he served as president and COO of Silversea and also worked for Costa and several other cruise lines.
Crystal's president, Gregg Michel, thanked Smith "for his many creative contributions."
"We wish Bill every success in his new position and look forward to his continuing support of Crystal Cruises in his new capacity at Virtuoso."
