Cunard Line has relaxed its dress code on embarkation night for cruises on the Queen Victoria in the Mediterranean this summer.

The informal nights typically require jackets for men, but they are optional on those voyages.

Cunard said the Queen Victoria will embark and disembark guests in Athens, Barcelona, Rome and Venice. “Guests will be flying to meet the ship from all over the world and arrival times on board may vary,” Cunard said.

The policy was changed so that guests can enjoy the first night “no matter what time they arrive and what time they dine,” Cunard said.
