Early bookings are open for Cunard's return to Alaska and a series of luxury cruises that begin in May 2019.
To open the Alaska program, Cunard's Queen Elizabeth ship will travel from Tokyo (Yokohama) to Vancouver on a 27-night voyage. After crossing the International Date Line and anchoring in Kodiak, the journey stops in Juneau and then passes Tracy Arm Fjord on the way to Sitka. Additional stops include Ketchikan, Victoria and Vancouver.
The company's 10-night Alaska outings begin and end in Vancouver. Inside Passage itineraries feature Tracy Arm, Icy Straight Point and the Hubbard Glacier, and guests also have the opportunity to explore in Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan. Additional hotel and land tour options are available.
"Cunard is thrilled to make our return to Alaska with our youngest ship, Queen Elizabeth," said Josh Leibowitz, senior vice president, Cunard North America. "Our guests can now explore the region on the best itinerary in Alaska four 10-night roundtrip Vancouver sailings with more time in port and opportunities to visit the natural wonders of Tracy Arm Fjord and Hubbard Glacier."
At the end of the Alaska summer program, the Queen Elizabeth will take guests down the western U.S. coast, cross the Panama Canal to New York, and continue to Iceland and the British Isles.
