Disney Cruise Line plans to offer a series of culinary
excursions developed in coordination with ABC daytime cooking-themed talk show "The
Chew."
In a blog post, Disney Cruise Line senior manager of port
adventures Arnaldo Zanonato said that Clinton Kelly, Carla Hall and Michael
Symon, hosts of "The Chew," have given their stamp of approval to the
culinary adventures.
Among the excursions will be a cooking lesson in Tuscany, a
culinary boot camp on Prince Edward Island and time at the Klipfish Academy in
Norway.
The hands-on seminars and programs will be led by top chefs
ashore, Disney said.

Other excursions will involve guests feasting on fresh
seafood they catch themselves off the coast of the Tongass National Forest in
Alaska and competing in a cooking challenge at a farm in Italy after exploring
the ruins of Pompeii and the Sorrento Coast.
"The Chew" debuted in 2011 as a replacement for
the long-running soap opera "All My Children" in ABC's daytime line
up. Until last year, celebrity chef Mario Batali was one of the co-hosts.
