Holland America Line will sail a 133-day Pole to Pole Grand Voyage and a 124-day Grand World Voyage in January 2025. Both will sail roundtrip out of Fort Lauderdale.

The sailings come as HAL executives have said they are shifting to longer voyages that cruise roundtrip out of the U.S. in response to consumer feedback and the price of airline tickets.

The Pole to Pole voyage will depart on Jan. 25 on the Volendam. The sailing will visit five continents and sail south through the Panama Canal, down the west coast of South America to Antarctica, then north along Argentina and Brazil.

The ship then sails to Africa, north to Europe and the North Cape before sailing to Iceland and Greenland before tracing the eastern coast of North America.

The Grand World Voyage will depart Jan. 4 on the Zuiderdam. The ship will transit the Panama Canal and sail to Easter Island and cross the Pacific Ocean to call in Australia, Indonesia and Sri Lanka.

The ship then turns south to South Africa before crawling north up the eastern coast of Africa through the Suez Canal to the Mediterranean before returning to the United States.

Guests who book either voyage will receive onboard spending credits and amenities valued at up to $8,800 for the Pole to Pole voyage or $8,500 for the Grand World Voyage.
