Holland America Line schedules return to Asia

Holland America Line plans to resume sailings in Asia from February through April. 

The 1,964-passenger Westerdam, which is currently sailing in Australia and New Zealand with plans for a January drydock in Singapore, will begin sailing in Asia on Feb. 3. 

The ship will roundtrip from Yokohama and from Singapore or sail between Yokohama and Singapore on 11- to 14-day voyages. The ship will call in Japan, Taiwan, the Philippines, Thailand and Malaysia. 

Holland America Line will offer five itineraries with overnight calls in Singapore, Kobe, Osaka and Phuket. 

The HAL sailings on the Westerdam will conclude on April 24 with a 14-day North Pacific crossing from Yokohama to Seattle, where the ship will homeport for the Alaska season.
