Hurtigruten is launching two itineraries in 2026 that pair land tours with Norway sailings along the Svalbard archipelago.
Hurtigruten will offer an Open Village experience to guests sailing the Svalbard Line next summer, immersing guests in daily life in the remote coastal villages of Traena, Bessaker, and Saebo.
Before the cruise boards in Bergen, both itineraries feature a two-day rail tour from Oslo called "Norway in a Nutshell."
A 17-day itinerary will include a seven-night northbound Svalbard Line sailing, two nights on land and four nights sailing on the Serenissima.
While overnighting on land, guests will take a wildlife and glacier tour on the Bard catamaran. On the Serenissima sailing, excursions will focus on wildlife viewings and nature exploration.
A 13-day itinerary includes the Svalbard Line sailing, two nights on land and the catamaran tour but not the Serenissima sailing.
There will be 15 departures of the shorter itinerary in 2026 starting at $5,432 per person. The 17-day itinerary will have 14 departures; prices start at $8,181 per person.
