The MSC Poesia has emerged from a drydock in Malta, and the refurbished ship is making its way across the Atlantic ahead of MSC Cruises' inaugural season in Alaska.
The ship now has the MSC Yacht Club, the brand's ship-within-a-ship luxury concept, with 69 suites. Guests staying in the Yacht Club receive 24-hour butler and concierge service and have access to a dedicated restaurant, lounge and private sundeck with whirlpools.
The Poesia also has two new specialty dining venues: the Butcher's Cut steakhouse and Kaito Sushi Bar.
The ship's Aurea Spa has been redesigned, while the MSC Gym Powered by Technogym has a gentleman's barber shop, various workout studios and the Top 15 Exclusive Solarium, an outdoor area for Aurea guests.

Following its Atlantic crossing, the MSC Poesia will sail through the Panama Canal before arriving in Seattle for the Alaska season from May through September. MSC will operate seven-night itineraries to destinations including Ketchikan, Juneau, Endicott Arm and Icy Strait Point.
Following the Alaska season, the Poesia will reposition to Miami to sail roundtrip Caribbean cruises during the winter season. It will return to Alaska in summer 2027.
