MSC will introduce a more flexible dining format with the debut of MSC Meraviglia in June.

The concept is called Flexi Dining, and will allow guests to pre-select a time slot for their evening meal, with the ability to change it at any time during their cruise.

MSC will retain the classic early and late seatings for guests who prefer that format.

The cruse line said it will also introduce dining packages that combine dinner and a show, a series of specialty restaurant meals or chef’s table and wine-pairing dinners. The packages will be commissionable to travel agents if booked prior to departure.

One of the packages on the Meraviglia will be the Cirque du Soleil at Sea dinner show, which is being added to the Meraviglia class.

The MSC Meraviglia will come to Miami to do Caribbean cruises in 2019. Later this year, the MSC Seaside will debut in Miami and it will also have Flexi Dining, although not the Cirque du Soleil show.
