MSC Cruises revised itineraries for three ships operating in
the Caribbean this fall and winter, substituting other stops for ports damaged
by hurricanes.
The three eastern Caribbean voyages of the MSC Divina that
depart on Sept. 30, Oct. 14 and Oct. 28 will skip St. Maarten and San Juan and
instead cruise a western Caribbean route that includes stops in Montego Bay,
the Cayman Islands, Costa Maya and Nassau.
On seven-day eastern Caribbean cruises, starting with the
itinerary departing from Miami on Nov. 11, the MSC Divina will now call at
Antigua instead of St. Maarten.
For Divina cruises departing in January and February from
Miami, MSC is making the following changes:
The Jan. 3 departure will call at Aruba and Curacao instead
of Tortola in the British Virgin Islands and St. Kitts.
On the Jan. 25 departure, San Juan will replace St. Maarten.
On its Feb. 15 departure, the ship will call at San Juan,
Barbados and Guadeloupe instead of St. Maarten, Tortola and Antigua.
When the new MSC Seaside begins seven-day cruises from Miami
on Dec. 23, it will call at Antigua instead of St. Maarten through March 17.
The MSC Fantasia, which is primarily sold to European
travelers during the winter, will call at La Romana (Dominican Republic)
instead of Tortola and at St. Kitts instead of Dominica, and will spend an
extra day at sea, skipping St. Maarten. The Fantasia cruises sail from either Martinique
or Guadeloupe.
