Norwegian Cruise Line will return to Asia for the 2023-2024 cruise season with sailings aboard the Norwegian Jewel.

NCL is offering a range of departure ports from October 2023 to March 2024: Tokyo and Yokohama, Japan; Taipei (Keelung); Singapore; Kuala Lumpur (Port Klang), Malaysia; Bangkok (Laem Chabang), Thailand; Benoa, Bali; and Seoul (Incheon), South Korea.

New ports for NCL include Puerto Princesa, Boracay and Salomague in the Philippines and Hualien in Taiwan.

The repositioning cruise is a 16-day journey from Seattle to Tokyo via Alaska.

Last month, NCL canceled its 2022-23 Asia season on the Norwegian Sun "due to challenging and developing regulations regarding international travel and cruising in Asia."

There had been uncertainty in Asia regarding port access with the Covid-19 pandemic lingering.
